Ready for a new perspective and skills that last a lifetime?
For organizations that put their people first.
Laurie brings her frontline experience into talks and training that help people navigate the moments when emotions run high, conversations feel uncomfortable and awkward, and circumstances change unexpectedly.
A difficult client conversation. A colleague in distress, a death, witnessing a tragedy, or a workplace that suddenly no longer feels safe. Entering a client’s home or workplace without knowing what you may encounter. Or being a volunteer and just starting to learn how to better connect with people with high emotions.
Every situation and every loss is different. The response shouldn’t be textbook. It should be human.
Laurie teaches people how to stay focused, remain present, and transition quickly when circumstances change.
CARE
C — Client conversations
Knowing how to approach a difficult or emotional conversation.
A — A colleague in distress
Recognizing when someone may be struggling and knowing how to begin.
R — Risk and safety awareness
Recognizing changes in an environment and responding before a situation escalates.
E — Entering unfamiliar environments
Using awareness and risk-deterrence strategies when entering a client’s home or workplace.
We don’t need to stop caring. We need to know how to CARE differently when the situation changes.
Real experience. Real conversations. Lessons that change how people respond when it matters most.

Support Rooted in Lived Experience
Partners and Spouses of Child Sex Offenders
Available as individual support or in a small, intimate group setting.
When the truth comes to light, life can change in an instant. The person you loved and trusted may no longer be who you believed them to be. The shock, betrayal, grief, confusion, and loss can feel overwhelming, leaving you questioning your past, your future, and even your sense of self.
I can relate to this experience because I have lived it myself.
When this happened to me, finding a resource I could relate to, one that recognized and understood the unique impact this experience has on partners and spouses, was difficult. Conversations about this type of offence are often uncomfortable for many people, leaving little space to openly share the pain, confusion, grief, and betrayal that can follow. At times, I felt alone, unseen, and unsure whether my own experience even mattered.
This experience is one of the reasons I created OVERCOMING Loss, Betrayal and Grief. I wanted to create the kind of support I struggled to find myself: a compassionate, non-judgmental space where your story can be shared, your feelings can be acknowledged, new learning and awareness can emerge, and healing can begin.
Whether you have remained in the relationship, separated, divorced, or are simply trying to make sense of what has happened, you do not have to carry this alone. Together, we can explore the grief, betrayal, trauma, and profound life interruption that often follows such a devastating discovery while identifying ways to move forward with greater understanding, strength, and hope.
You matter, and you deserve support, too.
